Regular activities

We offer a range of regular activities, to keep young minds busy, including our regular Creative Writing Club, Sensory Rhyme Time, and Bookclubs . For details on our special events, author visits, and workshops, take a look at our ‘Events‘ page.

Age 4+. There’s no need to book this very practical session.

CHICKEN AND FROG BOOK CLUBS

  • Children’s Book Club (Age 8-11) We meet once a month, on the second Saturday of the month, at 4:00pm. The cost is the RRP of the book. You can meet in-person at the bookshop, or via zoom.

  • Children’s Book Club – Adults only! Over 18, but love children’s books? This is the book club for you. We meet once a month, on the second Friday of the month at 8:00pm. The cost is the RRP of the book. You can meet in-person at the bookshop, or via zoom.

  • Adults’ Book Club We meet every two months, on a Thursday at 8:00pm. You can choose the evening that’s best for you. The cost is the RRP of the book. You can meet in-person at the bookshop, or via zoom.

  • Graphic Novel Club Age 18+ We meet every two months on the last Friday of the month at 7pm. The cost is the RRP of the book. We meet in-person at the bookshop.
